Tessalar Tulip Festival

Melbourne is also home to the yearly Tessalar Tulip Festival - a vivid display of various blooms. It's such a beautiful festival, just the perfect way to welcome spring! We went during the first week where it was the Turkish weekend and there was Turkish entertainment (belly dancing, music etc) and Turkish food. Of course, with Tulips you would think Dutch and the gardens were speckled with lil' Dutch stalls selling Dutch pancakes and clogs. The whole experience was a really fun one (especially for the camera fanatics) and highly recommended for everyone!
