Weekend at St Kilda Pier and street market

Since we were good enough to finish our housework on Saturday, we decided to go out on Sunday while there was still sunshine that day! It had been a gloomy week but fortunately that Sunday's weather was decent. You probably would have noticed by now, that a lot of our activities and blogs are determined by the weather forecast! This is Melbourne for you! Can't go out without first checking the weather forecast! In fact, our lives are centered around the weather from the things we choose to do and the clothes we wear... heh heh!

We took the first tram that arrived at our stop and that was tram 96 heading towards St Kilda beach! And a nice day at St Kilda followed but let our pictures tell the story!

We didn't do much that day, just walked around and enjoyed each other's company.. Jem thought the street market was selling "useless" stuff but Gie thought it was really interesting to window shop and if the apartment was big enough (and our pockets allow), Gie might have given in to the temptation to buy some "artsy" decor - to Jem's horror. Luckily our apartment is too small! We ended our St Kilda visit with another shot at Greasy Joe's for their burgers as recommended by Kevin Fang! The last time we went there for dinner, we had to gobble our burgers down to catch Russell Peters and Friends! So this time, we managed to actually taste the burger and it was goooooooddd!! The iced choc was wonderful too but then again, it isn't difficult to make good iced choc!

Burger anybody?

Hey! Didn't that Luna Park would still be around! The pasta certainly looks yummy!
