We know it was a late celebration (for practical reasons.. heh) and we feel bad about pretending to forget your birthday! But we had a blast anyway and hope you did too!
Unfortunately, things didn't turn out the way we envisioned it to - you arrive on scene and we yell out "SURPRISE!" - the car park hunt caused Maddy and Kelvin to arrive after you did and Darryl was late! BUT! At least Jem and Gie were there to do the surprise! Honestly, you surprised us more than we surprised you from the looks of our faces when you saw you step into the restaurant!
The next lil' mess up was... you had brought Sai B to the same restaurant for his birthday this year!! OPPSS!! Oh well.. xin you ling xin! How apt for you love birds to have the celebration in the same restaurant! hee... the food at Vic Harbour was decent and we had discount coupons so it wasn't so bad afterall! Next time, we need to do more research!!
Other than that, it was a good catch up and we really can't complain with good food, good drinks and great company! Hope you have a swell year being XX!! (tsk tsk.. it's rude to reveal a ladies age! =P)

That was another lazy weekend, just eating and doing nothing! We explored Brunswick street, Fitzroy and stumbled upon Joe's Garage! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food that we ordered since on any typical occasion, we would've never taken a second look at Joe's Garage! But thanks to the entertainment book, we were encouraged to give it a go with generous discounts - one main free with any main course order! Gie had the seafood sppegetti and Jem had the chicken parma and by far, the yummiest chicken parma we have tried! The seafood speg was wonderful as well and the amount of seafood was generous. There was even some crab in it so Gie's hands got really dirty that afternoon!
